NAPIER WOOL SALES.
(PRESS ASSOCIATIOX TELEGBAM.) ' " NAPIER, January 21. The second wool sale of the season opened to-day, and proved most successful. The offerings aggregated 6300 bales. There Was a large attendance, and bidding was erptrit-ed throughout the morning sales. The prices showed an advance .'ill round, with the exception of halfbred parcels, of from 10 to 15 per cent, on Wie prices at the last sale. Rougher and coarse breeds benefitted most. Locks, nieces, and bellie.'bowed a farthing to a halfpenny advance. Fair offerings of lambs wool made from 5d to 7d for bright parcels. Merino, of which little was offering, sold up to ,9d, .ard halfbred of good quality at, from 6Jd to- Bid. Coarse crossbreds in lignt condition brought- to 6d, and fair average 5d to s|d. Dingy crossbreds brought 51d,
crossbred bellies and pieces 3s_ to 4,d, and fine cross-bred pieces s_d to 6,d. **-
