CHAMPION RINKS SEMI-FlN_r_. The four Champion Rinks were drawn against each other a. follows:— ' Green Island (Buchanan) meets Dunedin (McLr.ien). Dunedin (Sinclair) meets Victoria (Brackenridge). Tho rinks will meet on the Christchurch green at 9 a.m. sharp to-day. The semi-finals of the Champion Doubles __d Singles will _:so b© played oft on the Christchurch green this morning. In the afternoon the Ladies' Day will take" place, _om_ien_i-g r.t 3 o'clock. The President and Mrs Jacques have issued a number of invitations. The match vrill bo bowlcra of 45 years of age md over versus bowlers of 4j and under. A large number of entries have been received, and tho various rinks have been selected by tho Committee -so as to make the mafoh an interesting one. Tho finals of tho Rink matches, Champion Doubles. Chf.ropion Singles, etc.. will be got off on Friday, and on,that nigbi the annual smoke concert and presentation of prizes will take place at the Canterbury Hall. This morning, on the Christchurch green. tha following pairs will meet:—Lani-ie and Maddison v Louisson and Bishop, Joynt and Barnett v Webb and Churchward. In the Champion Doubles, reported yesterday, an crrot occurred m the match, Tisch and Seager v Greig ar:d Mamott. It ought ■to have, been recorded Tisch and Seager lq» Groig and! Maniott 13.
