An sacred concert was given in the" Social Hall of the Sydenham Working Mem'e Club on Sunday evening. The following was the programme: —Orchestral selection; song, "Pilgrim," Mr Dougal; instrumental . selection, "Aye Maria," Messrs Robin* (violin), Winklemann ('cello), Diedrickeen (pia-no), Sparks (organ); sang, "The Refuge of the Soul," Mr Aiken ; "La Seremata," Mr Tankard, jun. (violin), Mr Tankairi, sen. (cornet), Mr Sparks piano) ; eong, "The Better Land," Mr ■Schwartz; instrumental selection, Mr Robins (violin), Wincklemann ('cello), Diederickeen (piano), Sparks (organ); recitation, "Becalmed," Air D. Ryan; iuiArumental selection, Messrs Robins (violin), Winckelma/nn ('cello), Diederickeen (piano); eong, "Rocked in the Cradle of the Deep," Mr J. Broome; orchestral selection, "War March of the Priests."
