INTERVIEW WITH MINERS' ASSOCIATION.
The Rand Miners' Association, in an interview with Mr Chamberlain, protested against Sunday labour, and urged a universal eigiit hours' day and compulsory arbitration in industrial disputes. Mr Chamberlain made a sympathetic reply. He pronounced agamst the alienation of mineral rights, and said the Government ground wjiiM soon be open for pegging.
