Sydenham and Lancaster Park commenced a match at Sydenham, when the former went in first and made 1,69 (Robson 49, Ritchie 41 not out, Gudeell 25, Drary 12). The Park replied with 70 for eight wickete (Hammond 24 and WiHstead 12 not out). T. H. North and Ridley bowled best for the Lancastrian*, and Legg and Robson for Sydenham. Midland and United started" at Hagley Park. United scored 199 (K. Williams 63, Deacon 43, Aitken 26, Jamieson 11, Olliver 25). Midland had scared 99 for the loss of five wickets when time vr&s called (Costelloe &>, Lawrence 27, Sindein 19). For Midland, Barry, Johnston, and Costeiloe bowSed best, and J. H. Williams for United. The Linwood Junior team scored 102 and 14 for two wickete (Hobbs 20, E. Tooraer 19, not out, A. Forsyth 17, E. Bates 11) against 71 scored by Rivals (H. Chapman 31, McCLeUand 13). Pollen and Chapman for Rivals, and Bates and Toomer for Linwood bowled best.
