At tJie Methven yards on Thursday about 3000 ehecp were yarded, principally twotooths. There was a small attendance of buyers, and only about a, third of the entry was sold by auction. Prices were: —Very forward four-tooth -wethers 16s to 17s 9d, fat ewes 14s Bd> to 15s 7d, twotooth ewes 15s 6d, -two-tooth mixed sexes 14s 4d, four and six-tooth ewes and lambs 12», aged ewes and lambs 9s to 10s, merino <io 6s to 7h 2d (all counted). Cattle— Heifers -and dry cows £5 5s to £7, dairy cows £6 10s to £10. Pigs—Weaners 10s 9d <U> 12s 6d.
