Our Askburtoa correspondent reports as fallows: — Wheat —Business is still confined to disposal of small parcels to keep inille'rs going from hand to mouth. No change has taken place in prices, -which remain 5s at near stations, alUiough some difficulty is experienced "in obtaining the full price quoted. Prospect of new harvest continues good. Quotations are:—Pearl 5s to 5s 3d, Hunter's and Tuscan 4s lid to
ss. . Q a i s —Old grain meets with very little enquiry, ar.d beyond a few lines of milling no business has been reported. In new oats a. start has been made with a, line harvested and threshed account J. Stringfellow, consisting of 1500 bushels Canadian oats grown at Chertsey. These weigh 421b to tne bushel, being cut slightly on the green side, the paddock averaging '5 bushels, which must be considered very satisfactory for tho dtstrict. Price ofetiinecl for prompt delivery is 2s 5d on trucks, out it is not anticipated tliat this price will hold for future lots. Oatsheaf Quaff—Old is now selling at £4 to £4 5s on trucks, and is becoming difficult to obtain.
