NORTH ISLAND TOURNAMENT.
(I'EESS ASSOCIATION TELEG-BAM.) PALMERSTON NORTH, January 15. The Bowling Tournament was continued to-tlay in magnificent weather. Several good games were played during the day, but nothing of a sensational character. Newmarket is leading with 9 wins and 1 loss, Palmerston and' Napier having 8 wins and 2 • .osses", Wellington 8 and 3, Masterton, Hastings, and Victoria 7 and 3, New Plymouth and Wanganui 7 and 4. Following are the results:—•

Tenth Round—Dannevirke 18 v Auckland 16, FeLding 23 v Hastings 18, Wanganui 19 v Upper Plains 18, Whataupoko 16 v Ponsonby 15, Wellington 24 v MaSterton 21, New Plymouth 26 v Paliiatua 14, Victoria 25 v Kaiti 13, Stratford 23 v Petone 17, Palmerston -37 v Carterton 11, Waverley 38 v Hawera 7, Newmarket 32 v Pa tea 9, Newtown 21 v Gisbome 14.
Eleventh Round—Napier 29 v Wellington 12, Thorndon 21 v Gisborne 18, Petone 23 v Kaiti 16, Feilding 27 v Whataupoko 23, Hastings 30 v Newtown 18, New Plymouth 28 v Pates. 16, Ponsonby 27 v Auckland 14, Victoria 26 v Pahiatua 17, Wanganui 36 v Carterton 9, Masterton 20 v Waverley 15, Stratford 30 v Hawera 19, Dannevirke 25 v Upper Plains 14. Two more rounds will be pDayed to-mor-row morning, after which the finals will be played-
