CASTRO DEFEATS REVOLUTIONISTS.
United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 15th, 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, January 14. Five hundred of President Castro's forces successfully defended Lumana for seven hours, capturing two hundred out of eleven hundred of the Revolutionists, and also three hundred Mausers and thirty thousand cartridges. The Revolutionists retreated. President Castro levied two and a half millions of the x/olivar's riches and on Caracas merchants, including £200,000 from Guzman Bianco's firm.
