CALIFORNIAN WHEAT FOR AUSTRALIA.

SIiiNEY, January 14. The first of the San Francisco wheat fleet hae arrived, bringing 38,000 Kicks. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, under date Jiuiuary 13th: —"The list of arrivals for the first series of wool sales is closed. The new arrivals have amounted to 215,000 bales, Of which 32,000 bales have been lorwarded direct to the manufacturers Si, Home and abroad, leaving, with 5000 bales carried forward from last series, 138,000 bales available for sale. Private eales since the close of last series have amounted to only a trifling quantity. The dates of our own sales are January 22nd, 27th, and 50th."
