The Premier states that he has heard nothing further in reference to the offer of seed wheat from the people of New Zealand, which Mr Seddon stated the Government wouud pay the freight upon. He expresses the view that the news of the recent copious rains in Australia may have retarded the movement in New Zealand, and that the people now thought there was no necessity for assistance.
