BETTER TRAVELLING FACILITIES. (SI'ECIAL TO "THE TRKSS.") WELLINGTON, January 13. The Minister for Railways is satisfied from his recent tour that there is great necessity fur better travelling facilities between Rotoniii and Pipiriki. He thinks it would pay to establish, a line of motor lMi'es between Rotorua and Taupo, and between Tokaanu and Pipiriki. thus connecting Rotorua with the head of fh* Wanganui river. It has discovered that excellent fishinu is to be had on Lake Rotorua with tlv. equal, it is stated, t<> the 'best Lwh in the Old World, and Mine fine "Uikf*"' of the rainbow variety me ieporled witliin the -last week or no. The Countess of Seah'eld has spoilt some tim« tishin-4 on the lake, and she has now gone t«> GaTatea to' fish on the Kanfcitaike river, wliere the sport is aki> reported to be very gocd.
