MATCH AGAINST HAWKE'S BAY. .——• % (JPEESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) NAPIER, January 12. _ The cricket match against Lord Hawke'f team was resumed, this afternoon. There vats again a large attendance. The Englishmen, with five wickets down for VSiJbr treated the spectators to a very good exhibition of batting. Bosanquet, the not out man of Saturday, continued his innings, scoring with great rapidity, making over 100 runs in an hour. His hitting woe very hard. Tnomson also played a sterling giune, and hiu partnership with put on 150 runs. In Hawke's Bay's second innings no stand was made until Mimissey and Ootterill got together.
