METHODIST QUARTERLY MEETING.

At Ihe quarterly meeting of the Durham ttoeet Methodist Circuit, on Thursday evening, the Rev. W. Baumber presiding, tne numerical returns showed 803 full memben-, 116 juniors, 35 on probation, 1449 Bchokrs, and 136 teachers. The balanoesheet sfhowed-rincome £404 13s lid, eatpenditure £328 13s Bd. Amounts raised for trust and other purposes £179 3s 2d. Messrs A. F. Drayton and J. A. Flesher w<sre thanked for their services as stewards during the past year, and unanimously reappointed. Messrs Flesher and R. H. Turner were elected representatives to the Conference, and' Messrs W. H. Seed and G. J. Smith as substitutes. It was decided to hold the next meeting at Durham street on April 6th.
