GIGANTIC RAILWAY PROPOSALS.

NEW YORK, January 9.
The Pennsylvania Railroad Company proposes to increase its capital to eighty m'_l-o_s sterling. It will construct tunnels under it he Hudson and East rivers, connecting the railway with New York and Brooklyn, improve the main fines, and abolish level crossings. Tbe changes will enable the company to run the fastest trains in the world.
