NOTICE TO MARINERS. QIGNAL STATIONS have been established at the BULLER and at FOX'S RIVER, where the same Signals are used as at the Grey and Ifokitika. A Flagstaff has been erected on the North Point of CONSTANT DAY, FAKIHI, where the following Signals will be shown : Red Flag at masthead : Boats can enter Blue Flag, half-mast: Low water, wait for tide. THE attention of the Public is called to section sixteen [l6] of the Stamp Dnties Act, which specifies the instruments on which the duties payable may be denoted by adhes : ve stamps affixed by the makers cr holders. On all other instruments the stamp must be affixed at the Stamp office; any stamp not so affixed is of no avail, and the instrument to which it is affixed is uustamped within the meaning of the Act. All instrumeots required to be stamped after execution [except those specified in section 16] mnst be presented at the Stamp-office within one month after the date of execution, «r they are subject to a fine of 20 per cent, on the value of he stamp to be affixed.
