Smaller Yarding At Waimana Sale
Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report holding their Waimana stock sale on Wednesday, when there was a smaller yarding than usual. Competition for all classes was keen with values being on a par with full late rates.
They quote:— Fat black face hoggets, £2 19s to £3 2s 6d; good medium weight fat Jersey cows, £l3 17s 6d to £l4 11s; other fat Jersey cows, £ll 10s to £l3; medium boner cows, £8 15s to £lO ss; light boner cows, £6 10s to £8 10s; potter bulls, £lO 2s 6d to £ll 15s; dairy cows, to calve, £l3 to £l4.
