Whakatane Crew’s Successes At Auckland
A Whakatane crew had two successes in two starts in a regatta held by the North Shore Rowing -Club at Stanley Bay on Saturday. Conditions were exceptionally rough. Whakatane won the open maiden fours and, in spite of being nearly swamped and nearly fouling another boat, was placed second in the youths’ fours. The crew was M. Whittaker, M. Brown, K.
