Fancy Dress Dance

The fancy dress dance held recently by the 7.30 Club, was a success. There were many patrons in costumes. Bernie Clements’ orchestra supplied the dance music and Mr A. Bell played an extra. Mr Mercer was M.C. During the grand march, the costumes were seen at their best. The most original costume, ladies, won by Mrs Wylde, ready for bed, and the men’s went to Mr Mercer, a la<|y ready for bed, and Mr A. Bell, as Charlie Chaplin. The best dressed, Mrs Dick Boynton, Spanish Lady, and Mr D. Boynton, Devil. Mr J. Grant, on behalf of the 7.30 club, presented Mr and Mrs M. King with gifts for their help duriig the past two years. Mrs King received a water set and Mr King a travelling toilet set. Mr King replied.
