COAST ROAD TO OHOPE?
The continuation, of the road to the Heads to Ohope was the solution of the beach accession, said the president, Mr B. L. Butler, at the annual meeting of the Whakatane Chamber of Commerce. Ohope would be brought within two miles of Whakatane. Beach residents would be able to cycle to work. Members supported Mr Butler.
