Scientific research is playing an ever-increasing part in the wool industries of all countries, and the Wool Board is anxious that New Zealand, as one of the world’s greatest wool producers, should not be left behind in this important field. The bursaries are worth £4OO a year each, for two years, and at the conclusion of their period of study overseas the bursars are required to return to New Zealand so that their experience will be of value to the Dominion.'
