Galatea Retains Cricket Trophy
In a challenge match for the Dhanji Cup Galatea retained the trophy against Kaingaroa in a match played at Galatea on Sunday. Kaingaroa won the toss and put Galatea in to bat. Details of play:— Galatea, first innings 82 (B. Wilson 22, C. Allen 13 not out). Bowling for Kaingaroa Spencer 2 for 17, Neil 1 for 18, Munroe 4 for 25, Cathcart 2 for 13. Kaingaroa, first innings 56 (Weatherburn 14, Canton 13, Cathcart 10). Bowling for Galatea R. Nettleton 6 for 19, B. Wilson 3 for 10. B. Fabey 1.
