Chamber Protests About Power At Ohope

The intention of the Bay of Plenty Electric Power Board that the 10.30 p.m. to midnight power cut in its area should continue through the holidays has drawn a protest from the Whakatane Chamber of Com-' merce.

The president of the Chamber, Mr B. L. Butler, has written to the Board pointing out the adverse effect of power cuts at Ohope in the holidays.
