Work-A-Week For Local Guides
Work-a-week will begin for Whakatane and Taneatua girl guides and brownies on December 18. , Its purpose is to raise funds for Arahina, the guide training centre at Marton.. The target set is 12/6 a guide or brownie. This is the last district to hold its week. Any job will be undertaken. Weeding, domestic chores and baby sitting are examples. The Girl Guides’ Association seeks the co-operation of the public. *
