TWO WHAKATANE MEN IN HAWKE CUP TEAM
Two Whakatane men are included in the cricket team to represent Bay of Plenty against Waikato in a Hawke Cup elimination match on December 15, 16 and 18. The team is:—
Callagher (Tauranga), Reid (Pongakawa), Searle (Pongakawa), W. J. McKenzie (Whakatane), Wyatt (Whakatane), Tregonning (Rotorua), J. Clark (Tauranga), Ellis (Tauranga), Richardson (Tauranga), Adams (Tauranga), Beatty and Parkinson (Opotiki, twelth man).
