60 PER CENT IN TAXES
About 60 per cent of the £13,000 to £14,000 which will be paid as incentive bonuses to Whakatane Board Mill employees on Thursday will go to the Commissioner of Taxes. The payout has been designed to coincide, more or less, with the receipt of income tax demands and most participants intend to pay their taxes from it.
