Mrs French, Titirangi, is the guest of Mrs Morris Reid. Opouriao.
Mr and Mrs E. Butt, Rotorua, are guests at the Taneatua Hotel prior to taking over its management.
Mr W. R. Boon was re-elected chairman of the Whakatane Harbour Board at the annual meeting on Friday. Mr H. G. Warren was elected deputy chairman.
Mr J. Dickson, of Ohope, has returned from Auckland after acting as Bay of Plenty delegate to the northern housing builders’ annual meeting and also attending the building industries annual reunion.
