WAYS OF RAISING MONEY WILL BE DISCUSSED

Clubs, organisations and societies which are able to assist in the raising of funds for the Whakatane War Memorial are asked to be represented at a meeting of the Entertainments Sub-Committee on Tuesday night, when means cf raising money will be decided on.

Donations to the Memorial so far total £52 2s, made up as follows:Whakatane & County R.S.A. £5, N.Z. Home Seiwicemens Association, Whakatane, £5, Whakatane Repertory Theatre £5, Whakatane Rowing Club £lO, Whakatane Rugby Union £5, Whakatane Fire Brigade £7 10s, Whakatane Primary School £2 10s, Bay of Plenty Indoor Bowling Centre £5, Whakatane Amateur Swimming Club £2 2s, Whakatane Catholic Community £5. Total £52 2s.
