HIGH STANDARD OF ENTRIES AT SHOW

RANGITAIKI CHURCH HOLDS SUCCESSFUL EVENT

In spite of showery weather before the show, blooms came forward in excellent condition at the Rangitaiki Presbyterian Flower Show at Edgecumbe. All available space in the hall was taken up and the judges, Mrs A. C. Martin (roses), Mr O. V. Marx (cut flowers and vegetables) and Mrs W- JHepburn (decorative and children’s) had difficulty in separating the, blooms for prizes. During the evening a concert was arranged in conjunction with the cup presentations. Mr lan Gow was M.C.
