The Ohope Bowling Club held its usual Saturday club draw. Results: W. Clark, Danks (s) 22 v Rowlands, Millar (s) 12; Patterson, Kirkbride, Duley (s) 21 v Brosnahan, Anstis, Head (s) 21; White, Luxford, Sters, R. B. Gerring (s) 28 v Austin, Bradshaw, Armstrong, Harris (s) 19. A challenge match was also played for the Gerring Buttons. Holders Parr, Hall, F. Gerring, Cockerell (s) 20 v challengers Storie, Bigwood, Kildare, Hayward (s) 20.
