Provincial Executive Of W.D.F.F.

The Bay of Plenty Provincial Executive of the Women’s Division Federated Farmers held a provincial day in the Awakeri Hall on Wednesday, November 1. An apology was received from the Opotiki branch which was unable to send delegates. There were nearly 35 members present and the meeting was conducted by the president, Mrs Hill, of the Murupara branch. After general business had been dealt with, a discussion panel, the subject, “various aspects of the Division’s work” was. entered into. The day was organised as a special effort for funds for the housekeeping work. The sales table was well filled. Lunch was provided by members of the Awakeri, Te Teko and Taneatua branches.
