Mr C. T. Smith As Candidate In Tarawera Riding
Mr C. T. Smith, of Thornton, will be a candidate in the Tarawera riding of the Whakatane County at the local body elections. Mr G. E. King, of Edgecumbe, has also announced his candidature in this riding. The present member is Mr W. Hunter, who does not seek re-election. Mr Smith is a former councillor and is a member of the Whakatane Harbour Board.
