Excellent Sale For Pigs
Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report having held their fortnightly pig sale on Monday, when there was a medium yarding of baconers, and an average yarding of stores and slips. Competition in all classes remained keen and an excellent sale resulted. Realisations were:—
Prime heavy baconers, £6 15s to £7; heavy baconers, £6 to £6 11s; light, £5 14s to £5 19s; medium stores, £4 11s to £5 2s; small stores, £4 5s to £4 15s; slips, £4 to £4 2; small weaners, £2.
