Beginners Have First Shoot

This year’s junior beginners in the Legion Miniature Rifle Club on Wednesday night had their first shoot, firing directly off the elbows with no sandbag rest, such as they have been accustomed to. Some of their scores dropped considerably, but P. Needham and R. Spong, 45 and 40 respectively, did very well, and with a little more practice some of the others should soon be scoring as well.
