POSSIBILITY OF TWO-DAY SHOW DISCUSSED
“Much has been said of the desirability of our considering a show of longer duration than the one day. I feel that it should be explained to the members and the general public that, however desirable such a change might be, it cannot be done until such time as the financial strength of the society is considerably greater than at present,” states the president, Mr lan B. Gow, in his report to be presented at the annual meeting of the Whakatane and Rangitaiki A. and P. Society tonight. “Until the proper covered stalls are made available, with adequate facilities for bedding and feeding of stock, a two-day show could not be held except by an unusual and highly inconvenient modification cf our present system.
“Let me urge again that membership increases will hasten the day when a two-day show will be possible.”
