Ohope Women's Institute
Mrs White presided over a wellattended meeting of the Ohope Women's Institute held at Mrs Campbell's home. A new member, Mrs Carter, was welcomed. The meeting was a busy one. A Children's Xmas Tree was discussed.
Afternoon tea was served by Mesdames Parr, Anderson and Clarke.
The competitions, which were of a high standard, were judged by Mesdames Carter, Parr and Campbell. Results:—
Best soft toy, Mrs Stevenson 1, Mrs Porter 2; flour bag article, Mrs Nattress 1, Mrs Stevenson 2; best flower, Mrs Stevenson 1, Mrs Dkkson 2; vegetable, Mrs Dickson 1, Mrs Stevenson 2; jam. Mrs Steel 1. Mrs Porter 2. , ..-,;
