Coming-Of-Age At Waimana

A most delightful party was held at the home of Mrs C. P. Wyld-2, in honour of Miss M. Boynton's attainment of the age of 21. There were about 60 guests present and games and community singing were enjoyed. The supper was all homemade, from savories to fruit salad, and the three-tiered birthday cake was made by Mrs Wylde. After supper, Mr J. Boynton, wished his daughter a happy birthday and presented her with a geld key. A large wooden key was autographed by all present. Mrs Boynton thanked Mr and Mrs Wylde for having the party there for their daughter, as everyone knew they had the misfortunate to lose Uieir home by fire. Monica thanked her parents for the key and the advice given by her father, she thanked Mr and Mrs Wylde for the party and everything and- also thanked all for the gifts.

The guests then joined in ringing "For She's a Jolly Good Fellow" and "Happy Birthday."
