Eastern Bay Federation Of Institutes

At the meeting of the executive of the Eastern Bay of Plenty Federation of Women’s Institutes, held last week, Mrs McCallion presided over a good attendance. Final arrangements were made for the Eisteddfod to be held at Waimana on November 1. A letter was received from the Women’s Division of Federated Farmers inviting us to form a coordinating committee. Three members were chosen to represent the Women’s Institutes. A letter, giving details and enclosing circulars of a travel; four round the Marlborough Sounds, was received and discussed. Arrangements were finalised for the bi-annual Council meeting to be held at Taneatua on October 12.
