Mr E. Hallett, who has been licencee of the Commercial Hotel, Whakatane, has retired, and he and Mrs Hallett will leave to live at Devenport. Mr and Mrs W. Searson, of the Masonic Hotel, Auckland, have taken over the Commercial.
