BOARD MILL BEATS ST. JOHN
' The Board Mill Social Club defeated the Whakatane St. John Indoor Bowling team on Wednesday, in a challenge for the St. John Challenge Shield. This is the first defeat of the St John team, E. Ramson, H. Drube, A. W. Mclntosh and G. Ramson, have suffered and the Board Mill team, W. G. Howat, W. Smith, K. Hannah and S. Butcher, played a very good game to score 15/2. 8/2, 3/8.
The Bqard Mill team will face a challenge for the shield from the Whakatane M.U.1.0.0.F] on Wednesday.
