Four New Members Are Elected
Four new members, Messrs P. Seebeck, L. Newman, J. Mawkes and J. Coutts were initiated into the United Ancient Order of Druids and G. Dines was accepted as a rejoining member at the meeting of the Whakatane Lodge, No. 97, presided over by Arch Druid Sister J. D. Rivett in the Parish Hall on Monday evening. A challenge from the Whakatane M.U.1.0.0.F. Indoor Bowling team for the Friendly Society’s Cup was received and will be faced on Monday week.
