Mr M. Lennie Leaving The Borough Council
“Because of the ties of a growing business, I have not been able to give the attention to Borough Council affairs that they deserve,” said Mr C. M. Lennie yesterday when he said that he would not seek reelection to the Council. “I feel,” he said, “that anyone taking on such responsibilities should give them full attention.” Mr Lennie, who has served for one term, said that he would probably come forward again when he had more time to spare.
