Steady Work By Otakiri Red Cross
The Otakiri branch of the New Zealand Red Cross Society have steady work to their credit again this year. In three months, 82 garments, mostly new, have been made or repaired, and forwarded to the British Red Cross. Six pairs of shoes have also been sent.
In addition, this branch has donated £5 to the New Zealand Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, £5 to the Red Cross fund for children ar~ rinving at Pahiatua Camp from overseas this month, and £lO to the current United Nations Appeal for Children.
