Wool Board Offers Bursaries
The New Zealand Wool Board is offering two bursaries, worth £4BO each, to enable New Zealand scientists to go overseas next year. The bursaries will be tenable at any approved institution overseas where the bursar can pursue his studies in sheep and wool research, which embraces physics, chemistry, genetics, nutrition, pathology, bacteriology, parasitology, and economic and statistical method applied to sheep and wool production.
The holders of the bursaries will be required to return to New Zealand on completion of their overseas course and enter for not less than three years the service of some organisation approved by the board. Applicants, who should have a university degree in science or agriculture, may obtain details of the bursaries from the secretary of the board, Box 248, Wellington.
