WHAKATANE CLUB’S FIXTURES

Result of the four-ball best-ball bogey player by the Whakatane Golf Club on Saturday was:—

A. H. Morpeth and W. Cassidy 10 up, H. Cantrell and W. Syme 4 up, Dr Akel and E. Shuker 3 up, W. D. Steel and L. Littlejohn 3 up. The first round of the Club championships will be played next Saturday. The draw is:— Senior: Cutfield and Hockin, Wardlaw and D. C. Morpeth, R. T. Morpeth and Conway, Burke and Bell, Pattison and Hyland, Watson and Henderson, Steel and Sper.co, A. H. Morpeth and W. Luxton.

Intermediate: Hansen and Barry, Littlejohn and L. B. Smith, B. L. Butler and Thomas, Bradshaw and L. W. Luxton, Miles and Cantrell, Jamieson and Cassidy, Howat and Pearson, Bushett and Brebner.

Junior: D. O. Stewart and Jones, Sloane and Campbell, Bridges and Cave, T. H. Wilson and Wylie, Craddock and Armstrong, Stone and Fryer-Rarsher, J. A. Steward and Moore, Jarrett and Shuker. A bogey handicap will also be played on Saturday.

TE TEKO LADIES The Te Teko Ladies’ Golf Club proposes a Stableford Bogey competition for seniors and a medal round for juniors.
