Fines Imposed After Accident
Fines were imposed by Mr Walton, S.M., in the Whakatane Court yesterday as the result of a minor accident in King Street. Bernard Dodunski pleaded guilty to having failed to stop after an accident and to driving without care and attention.
At night on June 23, Dodunski’s car had struck a corectly-parked car in King Street, doing some damage, said Senior-Sergeant Fuller. He made no effort to see if anyone had been injured or what damage had been done. He was fined £5 on the first charge and £2 on the other with costs in each case.
