OLYMPICS WIN TWO MATCHES Two good wins over visiting teams were taken by the Whakar tane'Olympics in Section 7 of the B grade of the annual Rotorua basketball tournament played on Friday and Saturday. The team played five games and suffered three losses. The tournament was attended by more than 00 visiting players from many parts of the North Island. Olympics was the only Whakatane team competing.

Making himself one of the leading archers of the Bay, W. Campbell scored a perfect end, the first in the history of the, Otakiri Arch~ ery Club, at the weekend.
RUATOKIHOCKEY WIN
On the Ruatoki hockey ground on Saturday' a friendly women's match was played between Kawerau and Ruatoki, the game resulting in a win for Ruatoki 5-3.
