KUATOKI DOWNED BY LIGHTER TEAM On the Ruatoki Domain, Ruatoki South defeated Ruatoki (holders) 22-6 in a fast and open game for the Biddle Memorial Shield. Ruatoki with a heavier pack of forwards failed completely to stop their lighter opponents, who were showing good team work in all departments of the game.
For the winners tries were scored by A. Stone, F. Vercoe, S. Reweti, M. Tiopira,' S. Whetu, H. Toko 2. For Ruatoki tries were scored by Biddle and Kohu. Mr S. Hohua was referee.
