Benefit Dance

A well attended dance was held in the Waimana Hall for Mr and Mrs J. Boynton, who had the misfortune to lose their home by fire recently. Rodey and his boys supplied the music for dancing.

The Christmas Holidays Christmas Day this year falls on a Monday. The Whakatane Chamber of Commerce, at its meeting on Thursday night, decided that Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday would be the holiday period for business premises. The same will apply, at New Year.
