About 6,140 women from 125 countries have visited the United States this year to study and observe American methods in a wide variety of fields, according to a survey of the American Association of University Women. '
More than 50 American voluntary relief agencies are engaged in sending aid to other countries in addition to official U.S. Government assistance. Contributions of American citizens through these non-profif, private groups totalled more than 126,000,000 dollars in 1949.
